Makes the ones that stay feel so smug and sure of themselves since THEY are the ones left and dedicated and sticking through it all. Then a couple of years down the road, they'll go on a love campaign and contact all those that left and probably are still tithing since they are living in fear of God, and tell them they understand, they love them and need them to come back and be a part of God's work. This will work because those that left are often so full of problems created by missmanagement, tearing their families apart, lack of education and job experience, abuse in many forms that they think is their problem, that they'll fall for the love bombing and either return or send their kids or start tithing or giving more money to feel they are still in God's favor. I hate this group.
