My girls go through it because they are the only ones amongst their peers who are committed to abstaining until marriage. They are called prudes, and all kinds of names, kids place bets to see when they will finally succumb and other assorted ridicules. I find it so sad in this society that a person has to feel alone because they do not want to enter the fray of promiscuity. They have a hard time keeping a boyfriend, because they expect them to have sex with them and if they don't, they drop them. So many of their friends have babies and become single moms, they don't want that. I don't like the other extreme our society is taking us, our children are suffering because of it. Sex becomes cheap and merely a commodity when it should and is the most intimate thing you will do with another person and should be something very special and wonderful. Yes, Brittany Spears, IMO, is going down the same road as Michael Jackson, they're both exploited by their parents and have been deprived of a childhood and meaningful relationships. Too bad. Shame on the parents.
