See, this is the kind of thing that makes me think that there are people who just don't have a conscience. I could never do that to any children. Good for you for being there for this child. I also have to give my hubby a lot of credit for stepping in when everyone else shirked their responsibility. It was hard for him, imagine, seven children that weren't his, but he stuck it out through all the ups and downs and turmoils. He may have his warts, but he's still my knight in shining armor.
