Prisons can't even go that far, legally! Probably the only place that can right now is Guantanemo Bay? I don't know.
I remember being told what and how to rewrite letters, having to write the opposite of what I wanted to, or write, period, when I DID NOT want to. I also remember on a couple of occasions where packages were sent and we were told by leaders what was sent, (i.e. clothes or cookies or whatever) and what was written so we could write back and tell them how thankful we were, and act like we had gotten them!
Also, the habit leadership had for helping others forsake all, I guess that still is prevalent. There are many times leadership came thru and took things they did not need because they thought it looked good (i.e. a watch, or a guitar case or other property)and they wanted it. So right on the spot they would take it right off of or right from you. Hmm. Doesn't sound like the good shepherd does it? Where did you join, Donny?
