well said socrates. I left the Family in 1983 and I escaped the Reign of Terror (whatever that was, I'm intrigued). I had the privilege of having a physically and mentally abusive husband and getting no support whatsoever while i was still in the Family. This pushed me out and thank dog it did. My children may have suffered longer than they did had my husband been nicer. I've lived another lifetime since then, some good some bad, but all my own decisions. The best thing I did was get an education or should I say a system education and did a degree majoring in Studies in Religion. It really helped me sort out my head in regards to my experiences in the Family. Some things still smart though even after so many years. I can only imagine what you people have gone through and offer compassion and whole hearted support.
