Flaxseed is very good for you. It's esp. good for digestion, eczema, and dry skin. Of course, eczema and dry skin are connected to the digestive system.
Sushi! Yes, well, the Japanese have one of the healthiest and longest life-spans overall, and they subsist largely on raw seafood. Of course, it's not freeze-dried in Japan, it's fresh. You would gain the enzymes and vitamins that haven't been cooked out, the protein that fish has to offer, plus fish oil which is very very good for you.
Supplements:
You may want to supplement your calcium for sure (make sure it has magnesium in it, to help the calcium assimilate into the body, as well as to give the body the magnesium).
MSM (natural sulfur), spirulina, fish oil, these would be good to eat. Try to incorporate a lot of green leafy vegetables into your diet, kale, spinach, dandelion leaves, parsley, broccoli, sprouts (sprouts by the way are very perfect food).
You may want to research into a good juicer and recipe book and start juicing vegetables on a daily basis. This is a great way to get a good amount of concentrated vegetables daily, and the times I do it I feel great.
Another thing you may want to look into is wheatgrass, which I have read about in my studies as being a very perfect food and good, esp. when juiced. You could stock up on some alfalfa seeds and grow them into your kitchen to add to your meals on a daily basis, they are a perfect food as well, and add garlic to your diet, very healthy for you.
Go for it Jo!! Let us know how you feel in a couple months!
Hugs!
