Congrats MG, and mainly to your daughter. Obvioulsy, she will be a wonderful participant in her community.
But I have a little observation on something Donny is saying, that "It's almost unbelievable that the Family can be so self-centric." When looking at the material the family has put out, with special emphasis in what the insane drunken profit said, it is clear that selfcentricity is not out of character of a paranoid cult. They need to have all of those characteristics: "we only have ourselves because every body else is against us", "we are special", "we are better", "listen to your leaders to be safe", "you don't need to read anything else but the letters", "the new wine is more important than the Bible", "the letters are the leaders (as long as you pick the ones that supposrt my current thinking)".
Maria can say anything she wants but that was a big mistake because kids are not stupid and, if we think in the long run, they are rebels just as we were; it is in their nature. Berg's nature was dark and sordid and that is the legacy he has wanted to leave but the children have a different nature, that of the flame that can consume the box that tries to control them.
So much for writing, I have to get ready to go to work.
