If I follow your drift (or you following mine) and it's the same pre-Waco time frame then my hypothetical answer would be probably yes. This scenario brings the fam's similarities to the highly programmed nazi troops a little closer doesn't it? Heck it doesn't even have to be cultic but cultural even. Just look at the Japanese kamikaze pilots, and their motivation was quite banal compared to ours. Alarming isn't it? But that's just me and unless I see statistics of suicides and murders in cults and by cult members (in short reality) and see that there is reason for genuine alarm then I wouldn't put much thought to this. I hope that satisfies your curiousity. There are already so many real issues I have to deal with in my own healing that I would rather deal with that reality than use up my brain cells on conjectures.
