How sad, it seems this happens a lot with couples that have a bunch of kids. No one wants to hook up with them and become cc helpers. They end up being on their own and come up with their own modified version of cult life. I'm not sure which is better. So much for Berg's vision of having lots of kids because they're "all our children." That's what woke me up and broke me from the spell, when I realized they were not "all our children" and it just wasn't going to happen. Parents need to be responsible for their kids and if they can't handle having a ton of them, then they should use birth control. Of course, Maria and cronies don't want to hear that because their disciples are home-grown now and if they put a cap on it, they're numbers would dwindle and where would they get their peon labor force from? Gawd, the whole scenario just grieves me.
