Yes, it clarifies your thoughts to me. I have no real disagreement with any of what you said. Some of your points though where you say (i.e.) "Acheick says.." are things I have repeatedly said myself. I have also repeatedly said that I think it is good and necessary for them to have their own space. What that I write makes you seem to think I don't understand this? In fact I just posted it again very recently, I think to you? I almost feel that the idea of supporting the recovery of any FGAs that need help whether they are still in or left long ago and are now where they need help, is seen as wasted effort or something. I said, and have said over and over, that I would like to be a part of a healing process for all that have left or want to leave, regardless of age. And I don't agree that the majority of people that leave cults have one foot in the family. It seems so at some boards, but I haven't seen that here for the most part. So what ex-family leadership should "discern" whos what? Now THAT sounds like family to me.
