Hi my name is Kristi, I am the one who wrote the letter to my cousin and she posted it, she told me she had posted it and I have been looking at some of your responses.
First of all I just want to let every one know, that none of these cases were "isolated incedences" as I am sure every one here is aware. This was only one of many battles I have fought against the Family and their distructive actions.
Second, it is encouraging to listen to your guy's strength and clarity about the family. I am happy to see us sticking together for something positive and trying to make sense of it all as a group. Because if we are capable of really shattering some of their long held lies in our eyes then we have a chance of helping those who are still in need and are still confused and still in the Family.
The reason I felt compeled to write after reading this one response is that it really isn't just about vengence or Justice, for many of us it is about protection. If we didn't feel there was still some clear and present danger, I don't think half of us would care to talk about these disgusting acts of violence committed against young children. The fact is that there are still so many of us who have siblings, parents, cousins, or other family members in the Family still. This is the hardest thing, for me at least,...My brother who was 16 yrs old just died, it was a death that was directly caused by the Family. This is not the end that I want for the rest of my 4 brothers and sisters still remaining in the COG. I am hopping to find some clear answers to why it ended like it did for him and maybe that will allow me to help the rest of my siblings find clarity and truth before they take their lives as well.
