One must choose what one's purpose is: to display one's indignation and the degree of offense, or to pursue justice. In a court of law, it is often useful to determine the difference, emotionally and literally. In the end, REAL "justice" is best left to the judge of all. The wheels of justice are exceeding fine, and exceeding slow. Reference made to the verse concerning swift justice, and the hearts of men, is a bit late, at this point, since the events evidently occurred many years ago. This comment, by whatever prophet or man of God, was made only as a statement of fact concerning the hearts of men, and not entirely applicable in this case. I doubt whether any action at this point is going to have an effect on the "hearts" in question. It would primarily be addressing the anger caused by the offense, and the demand for retribution.
However, other "hearts" may be also affected, in any case. Just how, and to what extent, only God and time can tell. One can only do what one's conscience dictates, and to what degree one feels necessary.
Sorry if I've offended you in addressing this.
