Yes, it is inexcusable. Another major difference between the Bergites and society is that Berg openly taught that abuse was acceptable, and good. They call it "love." We know it as sexual abuse.
I've NEVER heard of any other cult or religion that has promoted sexual abuse in its literature.
I'm sure there are other groups out there that have done this, but they aren't the issue. The Family is, because they have affected us all to one degree or another.
