Thanks PD. In my case it was in two foreign countries.
I will post my daughters' story because it is in many ways paradigmatic of what neglect at leadership level can wreak when severe issues and criminal behavior is not nipped in the bud.
One of the guys who abused them had previously (two months before) abused two boys about 6-8 yrs of age. (I will post details as I recently was able to talk to their mother) The parents reported the case, but nobody did anything.
He was sent to our place (we were forced to take him in...They made us read and react to "Spiritual Pests and Problems - The Spokes of Light" you know all those Letters made to put a person in a fearful position. Either you take this or ELSE, and else meant bad things at the time) and then the worst happened.
I only found out later, as the details surfaced and kept been coming up through the years and for years since 1989. Just like in your post, it is stuff to make one's stomach turn.
I also have a story about what top leadership did when I told them. They had just come from Japan where Berg and his entourage were.
Just like for the Catholic Church, and everywhere, abuses happen. But the INEXCUSABLE thing has been the hosting, harboring, protecting, and in the F's case in many cases the promoting and encouraging these vile behaviors instead of swiftly putting these criminals behind bars and in sex offenders programs and facilities. The safety and health of the innocent has been willfully disregarded.
At least if they are marked people would know, just as in Megan's law in the US. How many children need to pay for reckless actions of violent perverts?
