I don't dare say some of the things I believe the bible is saying. Nothing like Berg of course, much more mundane, but along the lines of heaven, hell, etc. I think people want a hell for all the evil they see in the world. They want a place for it. I have no idea what is going to happen once we die, does anyone? No one has died and returned to tell us. One thing I am certain, if God be God, then he will be just, otherwise, what is the point of following an unjust God? For now we see through a glass darkly, but then face to face. At this point in time, I think it's ludricous to try and determine if David Berg was ever "saved" or not, (or how good or how bad he was and when did he get more bad). I have no idea what that 20th century term means anyway. Saved from what? Saved from hell? Himself? I think he's going to taste his own medicine and that will be Hell enough. Or maybe he'll just sleep and never awake, that will be his punishment, to not enter into the realm of the creator.
