Given the source I received a copy of the email from, I tend to believe it was authentic.
As far as admitting to past abuse, on one hand, I understand that the first rule of an organization is to protect and defend the organization.
However, when the facts are already out there for the public to see, all it does is further discredit an organization that denies known facts.
There is no evidence out there that is more credible than their own copyrighted, publications. When they published "My Little Fish", they gave up the right to deny that any of that ever happened. When they do deny it, they are telling a lie, and should be treated like liars.
