i am sure that representatives from this site will be able to correct me if i am wrong but as far as i can remember, it was not the fcf who denied anything but there was a letter of one signing john smith supposedly representing the family.
i also remember that he was asked questions to demonstrate he was who he said he was, a representative of the family. as far as i remeber he faded into oblivion but i may be wrong.
on their denial... do you really expect them to acknowledge their abuse of people and their teachings of pedophilia? i some how doubt it.
