I personally want to know, even though I no longer have children or relatives in the family. One reason for me is that I am dealing with the past right now, and the cult changes it's modus operandi on the surface alot, and sometimes on other levels and all that confusion keeps people from comparing truth. The cult (f.) was built on lies, grew on them, and continues in them. Reality is constantly changed, according to the latest security needs or newest perverse doctrine. That way the family can say 'Oh no WE never did that!! It was the influence of those dirty filthy hipppies' or whatever else to excuse Berg from doctrines he instituted that many of us abhored but felt coerced to follow, as well as feeling our gut feelings about it were "of the devil". That is a key factor. Leadership is always self-protective at the expense of the followers. As long as I visit these boards, then obviously I am still dealing with fallout from, or family still in the cult. I have seen that there have been a lot of changes since I left. But it is still a very destructive cult IMO. As long as it exists, I want to know how they are operating. Perhaps it is the same as some Jews after the holocaust kept track of the SS and others that were hiding out from authorities. I will be better able to rest if I see this parasitical life-draining organization collapse. Then I would be interested in support for those who have to get on their feet on their own and wake up to the real world, in whatever little or big way that I am capable of. This group took my youth. From barely 18 until 30. This does not negate the damage that could be done to someone living in it only briefly. There are many who have extreme losses due to forsaking all only to be dumped or displaced afterwards. So I am glad for the updates! I want to see the tree fall, and the individuals helped that want help.
