Should it matter what goes on in the F. today?

I saw on another board where a poster said it didn't matter and he didn't care what went on in the F. today. I thought about it and this is how I feel:

Should it matter? And why. For me, I care because of my relations that are trapped in this group and those that I care about. It helps me to know how to relate to them and also to catch them in their lying and deceptive practices so I won't fall for it again. It pays to be informed. For example, the kids in the group nowadays will always say that they don't read Mo letters anymore because David Berg is dead. What they fail to tell you (and of which we know, of course) is that they still hear from him as a ghost in Maria letters and he still instructs them that way, reaffirming Maria's dictates. Also, they still believe his perverse foundation of the Law of Love and sex is OK with anyone, anywhere and anytime, regardless of age and relatiionship, they just don't practice it because of the laws of the land. They still live in a sequestered society, almost like a self made prison. So, the children still grow up heavily influenced by this. This is why we need to know what is going on in the F. today.
