As I have always maintained, we must separate the group's practices and beliefs form the individuals. After having supported the structure for so long are left wiht nothing else but their wits. I don't discount their faith in God but what their faith in the structure is the weakest link because the structure has mainly taken in without disbursing it out in the even and fair manner that would habe been necessary.
That worked while we were young and expenses were low but as people start needing more physical care due to their physical limitations the recipe doesn't work anymore and it's no surprise the top is looking at expanding their support base to Activate ex-members.
I feel sorry for them. A wonderful dream turned into a slow slumber.
