You have very good points. I wish I knew how to address them without stepping on 100 toes and starting another war. There is something to be said about learning conflict resolution and not having to be in agreement with everyone on every issue. We WILL disagree. That's a fact of life and really should be encouraged, otherwise, we're just starting another little mind-control organization. At the same time, there does need to be a safe place for people dressing their wounds - a red cross center of sorts where they can be free from the battle in order to address their wounds and let them heal without fear of getting distracted with new wounds on top of the old ones. At the same time, these very people will be understandably angry and needing to let the pressure steam off after so many years of suppression. It's a fine balance and sometimes, I think, there are people who don't get it and don't understand that balance. Additionally, there were whackos who joined the COG and leaving the COG/FOL does not make them any less of a whacko or unbalanced, or whatever you want to call them. It's a judgment call and we who manage these websites have to be very sensitive to that balance and that judgment call. I'm glad you like it here and feel safe and free to express yourself. As long as that is happening, I'm happy too.
