There is that distinction but it will also be helpful to realize that the higher one looks up at the hierarchy, those individuals *are* THE organization. That they can't even go to FCF anymore is not new. Your observation is correct and has always been that way: the top at the chain IS the organization that bleeds the ones below.
My point is that when you deal with people in The Family, you must be aware of their level in the hierarchy to see them as individuals or as The Organization. This is a little difficult to understand in the abstract but in plain terms, the higher they are the less individualistic and selfdirected they are - in other words, the more Borg-like they are (or should I say bergite?).
