That was some pull! It hurts to know that children often don't have enough experience to know what's going on or can't express themselves enough to say, "something is seriously wrong this time". And medical professionals will often gloss over something, "oh it's another schoolyard fight that's all". I remember sitting in an emergency room for 8 hours with one of my sons, with a huge see-the-bone type gash in his forehead, while doctors casually said, "it's OK, if we stich it up within 9 hours he'll heal properly, we still have time... relax". Ugh! And I can remember lots of other stories too but I won't get into them. Our children will always be our little babies, even if they grow up and turn into adults and move out. You have my thoughts and prayers.
