I don't think the board resembled tabloid journalism. It was more that the standards of journalism were being discussed, the repercussions of our actions were being discussed. And these discussion were insightful and meaningful, even if heated.
Alongside the mess, we got to know LB as a bonafide organization with very professional and smart people. We got to see a great letter to P & M, we got to discuss the issues of guilt and responsibility.
Even when the mudslinging finally started, we got to examine why someone who wants privacy and fair reporting for himself can't extend it to others.
