Hi. Just happened to have a few free moments at an airport, and thought I would surf the net a bit. Notice that there have been a few postings condemning the donation of a kidney to save someone's life as being similar to a suicide bomber. Seems to be a slight difference there, which someone overlooked.
If you or someone close to you was dying for lack of a kidney, would you consider it to be so terrible for someone to do what they could (i.e. offer a kidney) to help them out?
All of this is quite apart from whether or not people on this notice board feel that members of the Jesus Christians should be allowed by the authorities to do such a thing (because you think we are all brainwashed zombies). The real issue (since hospitals performing the transplants have strict professional guidelines for determining whether we are giving freely) is just whether or not it makes sense to donate a kidney to save a life.
