There a letter he wrote about the suicide in which he never defended it. In fact he thought it was stupid. Maybe you can find it in some archive and read it. What he did in that letter was explain the reasoning that went on, just like a profiler. Of course, Berg was a profit prophet, not a profiler, but there is a jump from what he said and from what you are saying.
He never defended suicide and never preached suicide, like you are trying to say here.
His own confessions about wanting to die is a different issue and show a different motivation that what you assign it.
Edward's case is that of a researcher that goes out to prove something and tries to shape the data rather than let the data lead him to conclusions. Data shaping is not cool.
