First off, I appreciate anwers like that from doubtful, who doesn't come immediately with the "sledgehammer"...if I confess to a poor memory, what about yours then?Do you refresh it by still reading the Mo-junk...please don't expect that of me though...even in court, if the case is very far back timewise (now 16 years for me) from the (mis)deed..(s), then any juidicial experts know, that the memories have a few "tweaks" here & there...now does that surprise you?I thought it to be common, so I don't take your comment very personal.
By the way, when I submitted the post, the thought came to me, that when Berg went on this drinking binge...now wasn't that on Teneriffe?...& wasn't it for a lost lover??...& weren't we supposed to fast & pray for him? ... later he confesses that he was an alcoholic (reminding us "folks at the front" always to fight & to lay down or "asses"...excuse me pls.)...& that he wanted to just "kill himself" by drinking or did I get that wrong?(Those experts might find more about it in his confessions)...Zerby/Maria then got him off drinking somehow...as we needed "him so much"...ok ok I got it wrong probably...so what?
As I said already in my initial post/answer: I thought it was already damn weird, that he/Berg defended PT's mass suicide...now do you find it ok to justify a suicide sect?By the way, I find the suicide of the Jews in Massada equally "weird"."But the pressure on those poor people grew so much, witchhunting journalists"...blah, blah, blah...Jones put pressure probably on the followers himself...how can you justify that incident? The time it happened, I innerly felt: tough times for "sects" from then on...period.
And I never claimed, that there was a full-fledged "epistle" of Berg in that regard, but do you sometimes read between the lines or not?...& I read plenty of his letters...well, thank you!One of his tactics was to say one thing yesterday, another today & you knew, something "revolutionary" he'd say tommorrow...
All that reminds me of one German politician, who was confronted with a contradiction of his: what do I care about my BS/hogwash of yesterdays/yesteryears or of such meaning...great!...same attitude of Berg...in an attack of doubt, he would say some moronic think...getting Maria & staff all uptight & worried & come some sunshine, it's a new different message...I never said, that he outrightly had such suicide-ideas for all, but he did say a lot of wrong things, e.g. the thing about the PT...now pls refer to that for a change....should you have the desire to reply.Thank you.
