I guess that's how you see it. I, on the other hand, can appreciate separation of church and State and the diversity as well as freedom this protects rather than suppresses. Private religious schooling is not illegal, though I think far too much of this is allowed workout adequate regulation and to the serious disadvantage of children
who are home schooled by woefully under-educated parents/"teachers". This tends to have a dumbing down effect on our society as well as causing a host of other problems.
