I think there's more than analysing e. g. the Bradley-effect, I just read up upon (Wikipedia)...even in my country the most famous polls-analyserin Noelle-Neumann (now dead) wrote a book about some questionable polls: the spiral of silence...or how media is also influencing the whole...
Anyway, I trust polls only to a limited degree (after elections, they are fairly precise predicting the final results)...especially when some stats-results draw only on lots less than 100 or so for a much bigger problem, like in medicine or sociology.Probability theory is alright, but only gives indications, hardly the 100% true picture...all the time.
I am working with such quality management day by day...it can also be faked...being then a pretense (marketing)
I am not referring to the poll of MG though...
As far as I am concerned...if the majority would vote wrong for my liking/opinion...I would leave Sodom & G. as long as is possible...but I guess that connotation seems "weird" for the other side.
My take is, you can't force a godly...righteous view on others...that in itself seems ungodly to me...but neither do I let others tell me/force upon me (if I can help it), what is the "superior thinking"...living...outside of the biblical norm...for me unthinkable.
