In this case you have a person that wanted forceful and ugly change who was unsuccessful in that he didn't actually bomb the pentagon, and therefore he had the chance to turn things around. Apparently he is a professor in a university now. If that is the case, then why not allow him to move on? Also, both candidates have associations in their past, as do their VP candidates, that could be harped on to make them out as hypocrites and far from being mavericks.
I respect your right to your opinion though, and appreciate the free discussion.
As far as the suicide bombers go, weren't they largely Saudi Arabian? Yet because of dependence on fossil fuels and not seeking alternative energy, they remain allies.
Did you see the film "The Kingdom"? Thought it was a great film. You'd probably like it as well.
