As it has become politically incorrect in Germany since long to call the "blacks" Negroes (or "worse")...it then became practice to talk about "the coloured" (like green...blue...actually many "whites" are quite a bit "pinkish")...then also Afro-American etc....I did laugh though, when my daughter some time back came across with a new term from highschool...yet "totally correct" : the maximum pigmentated...though "funny" it kind of showed me the ridiculousness of using the "best" technical term for some "fact" in order to not sound too offensive...it takes the "charm"...the warmth...out of a wording...blacks and browns is shorter...but anathema?
I thought it to be ironic, the first name of new attorney general Holden: Eric ...what was "the purpose" of his parents ; )
