I believe you should check this man out too. John 'Gideon' Harnett. He was a member. It disturbs me that in his testimony he proudly talks about the COG cult and makes no mention of their filth and wickedness and the disgusting child abuse. For example: "I met the Children of God on the Melbourne streets a second time. I was impressed by their zeal and love for the Lord. These were saved born-again children of God, regardless of what you may read in the so-called history books. There is no doubt today about that in my mind. (Today I have renewed contacts with some, after a very long time, and I know this to be true.)"



He also is friends with a man who is still a member? or at the least still supports TF as last I checked he still had material from them on his website (James Arendt), this man posts a lot on John Gideon Harnett's facebook page. John Harnett even has a link on his blog that takes you directly the James Arendt's webpage. I find it deplorable that a professing christian like John Harnett would be ok with this association, and not outright disavow himself of any connection to a child abusing cult. That smells incredibly fishy to me.
