The generational thing in terms of FG and SG is not always neatly applicable. Not every FG joined in the 60s and 70s and stayed on to the 90s or later. How do you define someone who was 16 when they joined in the late 80s, who is practically the same age as those born into the cult in the early 70s? Although he/she may have joined and wasn't born into it, he/she would have been much younger than the classic FG prototype and may have been subjected to a whole different experience and thus have an entirely different perspective than his/her supposed peers. He/she may not even relate to "FGs." And what if he/she only stayed for a couple of years and left? What if someone joined young, in the 90s when all the abuse was hidden and all the pubs were sanitized? Etc.
