We have to keep in mind that the COG/TFI is not a christian movement, it never was. Neither is the Vatican/Catholic Church christian per se, and the megachurches are mostly popular social clubs, and has little to do with christianity.
But in the statistical count all these and more are lumped together as christian, some of them embracing abusive and tyrannical doctrines contrary to the Bible. Coincidence? Maybe, I don’t know.

If you work hard on not sounding 'religious' I guess I make up for it. ;)
