Except when it's one of their own children and not Ricky, dying as a result of being messed up from being born and raised in the cult. You can rest assured "care" doesn't even begin to describe it. Even words like "regret," "pain" and "emptiness" fall short as constructs for what they will feel for the rest of their lives, the massive hole that comes from losing a child due to their own folly.
