I deal with my life on a personal basis. I react to people I know by my dealings with them, I'm an eternal optimist and I overcome negative experiences by focusing my time and energy on the positive. I have no interest in excusing or discussing the TFI as a whole or individuals in it.
My friends are my friends because from all my experiences with them I find them to be good people with values I admire. Those who are conniving, malicious or selfish I dislike and therefore cease to work with them or spend time around them. Whether someone is or was in the TFI or not makes no difference to me.
The only reason I'm on this site is because someone mentioned my personal blog as some sort of 'proof' that the TFI is not disbanded. I do not tithe to the TFI, I support my mom and her work with orphans which any responsible child would do for their parents regardless.
I don't agree with a lot of the doctrine that was taught in the TFI but I do appreciate the basic Christian values I was taught and experiences I've had in my life. I'm busy working on a successful future for myself and my daughter and have no interest in dissecting my past as I love life right where it is in the present.
I hope you can understand that and I hope you find lots of happiness in your future.
