They learned how to play the game in a more sophisticated way. Don't forget they have lawyers who advise them financially and set things up for them.

They are not the only "scam charity." AC 360 on CNN is uncovering stuff about other bogus charities, but unfortunately the issues are two: 1) these are technically legal and 2) nobody cares enough to put in the money and the time to dig deeper.
