I'm sorry to hear about you painful situation. I've experienced spontaneous abortion, and it was very difficult. The body goes through some intense hormonal changes in that situation. Once your body chemistry adjusts to its new state, some of the intense emotion settles down. In place of feeling so ragged and raw, it becomes more of a dull ache.
