I don't celebrate Jesus' designated birthday, but I do have a mixture of emotions around this time of year. Some memories are good (no thanks to the Family) and some are bad. I try to focus on the good and having an enjoyable time with seasonal lights, tree, decorations, gifts to close family, enjoy seeing kids excited about presents and decorations.. I used to sleep through the holidays as much as possible because it was so depressing to me but now I participate in holiday cheer, without religion.
