Amazing story, Peter Puppet. And I was there when he came to the Philippines.
He apparrently had throat cancer, and left Australia. Coming to Bacholod, Philippines where we had a normal missionary colony away from their show colony of Aaron and Sky and their Sunshine or Rainbow kids.
We first saw Peter Puppet outside a cock fight where we were litnessing. He literally was surrounded by kids. He mesmerized them with his life, actions and love for them. He was truly gifted alive and free and a Pied Piper. never were kids so attracted to anyone more than Peter.
But their home which was for show and pride and worldly glory, drained the life out of Peter week by week. He lost his spirit and eventually his cancer in his throat started growing back, and the evil ones were Manila, Sam persuaded this star of theirs to get cancer treatments as Sam had zero faith and only faith in the money he received from Central headquarters..
