Thank you for your comments. I will need to check them out. If what you are saying is true, a lot has changed. I hope it is so. But from my information the core beliefs are still the same, and are still the same in the core followers (those close to P&M).
If you were to get in farther than the surface (the people who are in the streets, actually contacting outsiders) you would find that not much has changed for them. They still live in "homes" and believe and behave pretty much as always.
The public face of TF has always been a disguise to pretend they are something else, or that they have changed. The latest changes are more of the same trick. They may have moved on from their past, like many of us (including me), but done so selectively.
They have preserved their core beliefs and behaviors. What has happened with the new changes last year is to get rid of people who were becoming old and would be in need of care. They have sent them out to their children for them to take care of their parents as necessary.
Nothing wrong with that, but let's call it like it is.
