There are pictures of Gadhafi together with people in Berg's entourage (Esther David, etc. if I recall well) - Gadhafi himself mentioned the Children of God in a personal interview in 1979. He was clearly acquainted with the group and its ideology.

Berg mentioned that Ghadafi had heard his message and 'loved his women' - not that it would be hard with someone like Gadhafi, who surrounds himself with female bodyguards that have to be young virgins in order to qualify for the position and 'training.' Italian Berlusconi says he got the idea for 'bunga bunga' sexual practices from Ghadafi himself, who has been a friend of his for quite some time. They both like having a harem, much like Berg did.

Berg tried to hitch his wagon to political figures more than once. He had a thing for power. Think about what took place in the Philippines. He had a grandiose vision of himself being able to be the Prophet behind a famous "king." A lot of this stuff he expressed through the years in his prolific writings. There is much written about Gadhafi in the late 70's. A lot of details are revealed here and there.

Mother Eve's team in Southern Italy was also sending people into Libya in the mid to late 70's.
