No grudge is wonderful...it's only that 3 comments recently...shutdown problem/posting...the panties in the knot-problem...and this one now rendered some comments..."sharper" than I expected and am accustomed to in "mild" context/conversation
1)Without wanting to cause a stir through rechewing/"ruminating"...but sir/(madam)...it's unreasonable to ask of someone to think/reflect about a term, when "nobody else" in the States or wherever seems to think about it (at least Google left me without result on the first 6-7 pages)....having consciousness-problems with it.(Many times in my life, some piece of garment of mine got in a twist...because I was in a hurry...and we do know...squeeze don't jerk...sorry for the lame joke) Which leads to the thought:...that it's bias only?? (sometimes bad for discussions...the poster did say, that he had left TF for five years...I thought he might have been a SGA...because they used that term a lot...I never heard that term in TF...which also proves...logic...that just reading TF-material...doesn't make you using/preferring such terms necessarily/rather may be a generation-thing)...I am very much against TF but I am also super much for fairness...if someone is just targeted, because he has a somewhat pro TFI-thought...then I think we're not ready for any broader dialogue...meaning speaking your piece/liberty of speech...I personally think I could handle posts of such kind...even others thought so
a) This led me to think, that it might be useful to use the posting space=boards in a somewhat different manner.
Victims should have their space, special space...and it should be a prominent space...their testimonies speak louder than anything else...albeit some of their contributions get "drowned" in a lot of "spam"...mine included...but not everybody has something super important to tell.
b)There should be a space, where one can discuss TFI-doctrine, without anyone yelling: this is religious...if someone can't stand the mentioning of ...he/she should refrain from going on that board...discussing that...there are tons of theologians/philosophers, who write about the concepts of God...without being believers...actually that should basically be no problem...in general
My suggestion would be:
1) Using soap box...renaming it...for personal -witnesses- testimonies...may be unabling the comment-function on that board
2)Using the academic board for discussing TFI doctrines...even if it happens to be unacademic the style and wording...besides the fuctions til date....I remember unacademically "contributing" there...about some suicide-theme
3)GenX could be an all sorts board (including possibly politics...atheists should be able to handle that or not????...otherwise politics could be altogether dropped/sacrificed)...however no religious professions...including no "sharpshooting" from atheists..meaning "exploiting their lack of faith in the supreme"...which happens to be another faith...which I (and others) argued on journeys about...someone wrote a book about it too (as I mentioned) using simply the implications of Gödel's incompleteness-theorem (with the nice headline:...without faith no knowledge)
Journey could be still the road after TF - discussion board...we believers "suffered" also the non-professors (of the supreme) there..so may be the atheists...(like Jewlz???, Perry...long time exer??? etc. etc.) could give us a little credit for that too...you included...because otherwise it'd be simply more boards for the atheists...who could have their full "swing" or not???...I am not asking for equality here...but simply for acknowledging some facts...and some of our "patience"...I am not begging for it my faith and "self-esteem" can handle a lack of acknowledgement of that kind...life is too beautiful for really being bothered about petty things like that...hence my "frustation-comment"--sometimes wondering : am I not wasting my time here...
If nothing changes...it could simply be said, rather I say it...that I am somewhat dissatisfied with the platform- offers in light of the very different tasks we encountered over the years (pro TFers posting...victims posting...sensitive people posting...)...(frankly the academic board always has been a nuisance to me...too elitarian...with hardly any traffic there)

I meant not really lots of more work for...therefore the restructuring of the existing
space/renaming...because other boards have a flagging - function, if some content is offensive and the coordinator may be not there that moment...although I can also see the possibility for people like Jewlz and Perry to cry foul...if something of the like, just like now, happens in the future....and they/she already did on occasions, as I faintly remember
By the way...if you don't understand something...why don't you copy and paste and ask for clarification...happened now more than once???
