This exodus of young folks actually began in the early 90s, but gathered momentum during the last few years. They actually stopped publishing their member stats several years ago as they were a testimony against them. Just recently, as part of their Change Journey, they published some general stats, but they included AMs (I think it stands either for Activated or Active members - basically just friends of the Family) all lumped in with their normal members. That figure didn't even reach what the whole group, FD, MM and FM reached several years ago.

They are fizzling out and they know it, hence this very last effort to save the sinking ship.
