Sorry I thought I wrote the whole story here but I realize I put it on the message board. Um..I went to the mall this past Saturday in order to take my kid to see Toy Story 3 and after the movie we walked through the mall and we saw this woman and this teenage boy taking donations for children or something like that. The boy was making balloon characters and my daughter asked for a butterfly. So I let him make one for her. I was busy buying a pretzel when I started to feel this gloomy feeling. I asked the lady how much were the ballons and she said it was for donations. Oddly enought I didn't want to give her any money but my kid wanted a balloon so bad. I just pulled out a dollar and gave that to them but the boy with her looked so unhappy and it seemed as though there was a dark cloud hanging over them. Before we left the lady handed us a couple of pamphlets. I felt so bad for the boy but I just wanted to get the balloon and hurry up so that we could leave and I could protect my baby.
I felt guilty later for leaving the boy especially when I found out what group they were associated with. I kept thinking about him all night and that's when I got online to find out what was really going on with the group now. I am sad to hear that they aren't changing.
