When you think about some of the really great spiritual writers--all of whom are available for free at a local library--Zerby's pious platitudes read like such unimaginative pablum. Hell, even some of the people raised in The Family are emerging as literary talents in the competitive world of book publishing, and I don't mean just the Buhring/Jones sisters.
