Having departed fairly recently (3 years) and having followed the „Change Journey“ with keen interest up to now (haven’t heard what has happened after the four months hiatus – Jan. until April 2010 - for reaching a consensus on actual changes), my bet is that they will slowly fizzle out.
A hardcore of admirers and zombies will always remain around Zerby and Amsterdam, I believe, but most members will probably try to integrate back into society, now that the stigma of “system” jobs, business activity and education has been removed – even for the highest FD level.
I actually wrote Amsterdam recently, offering a few observations and compared what’s going on right now in TFI, to Glasnost and Perestroika of the Mikhail Gorbachev era. Some of the older folks may remember... I cautioned him that as a result of the Change Journey the Family might actually disintegrate, as did the USSR after the lid was taken off.
He didn’t answer, not even one of his secretaries, who usually send out at least a little “Peter read your letter with interest and is praying for you…”.
