I still want to verify the written evidence/facts in wiki...I am not such an expert on jewish customs/religion...but what I read is disturbing in the sense, that religious concepts seem to clash with the "moral majority"...the laws in western society.
I just wanted to find out more abou´t jewish marriage to get the parallel church/bride...brdigroom etc...straight and also I noticed since longer the similarities in Hindu rites...
May be some experts can confirm, where the underage-bride-stuff stems from...seems like the same argument TF launched...onset of puberty = mature enough to marry????
What holds for me true are the laws of the country I live in....still this is kind of "bad news" (not to speak of muslimic customs....etc.)
