You got it right about the leadership and their children, their friends, their everything is better and gets special treatment. TFI had revolutions every so often to make changes according to their convenience, P&M announced the changes, they named new leaders because things "had gone bad and wrong". Soon enough, after a little change here and there it was business a usual with leaders going from one place to another. All the demotions, retirements and moves were pure form without substance. The same leaders that made innumerable mistakes continue being leaders making the same mistakes. Peter and Maria are a good example of this.
