It is pretty disgusting the way they don't tell the truth about themselves and pretend to be something else.
It is not only Indians who are being deceived and lured into their dealings unawares. Many well-meanng visitors who want to be more than be consumer tourists, who want to volunteer and do something useful and give something back to Indians, have been tricked into contacting them through their India website. I was shocked to discover that TFI had managed to put its name on into the 2008 edition of the most popular travel guide book. I wrote to the publishers asking that they be removed citing the reasons. As far as I know they have been removed.
